I loved the continuation of the lives of the characters from the first three installments as they progressed through these novels. Unless one is using Botkin's book to write a research paper, I don't recommend fact checking unless you already happen to know where Botkin is correct, mistaken or misleading. Great map. The book also talks about synthetic biology, and finishes off with topics at the horizon of bioengineering research. Many helpful insights and confidence builders. Tridoshic balance he says is vata-relax the body/pitta-fire in the belly and kapha-a warm and loving heart.Let's hope that is what this book helps to bring out in more people. She expresses a great deal of disillusionment with race relations in this country.The author towards the end of the book (set in the early 90's) helps her mother seek out her "white" relatives and there is mostly happy reunions.
