Wow - this was exactly what it said it was! I could not find this information anywhere and then I found you! I needed the wiring diagrams - and there they were!! PERFECT!!!. I am assuming that means more studying, but I am glad it pointed that out to me.. :-). I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a comprehensive study guide and can say, for me, it proved to be a definite success.. College-level libraries strong in either cartography or GIS mapping design will appreciated DESIGNED MAPS: SOURCEBOOK FOR GIS USERS, which offers easy basic guidelines for creating the cartographic effects using ESRI ArcGis Desktop software. I purchased this book b/c I am looking to get into the trucking industry. These designs show how a dataset may be portrayed by a map, offering demonstration maps with details needed to achieve effective designs. I found the text very useful for my purposes, and an interesting way to compare various map presentation styles. Each chapter is followed by a series of questions and the authors give tips throughout the book for passing CDL exams. I couldn't pass most of these tests yet. This book helped me score a 93 on my actual CDL Exam! So overall this CDL book is worth the money and I would recommend buying this book. After serving in academic positions at Odessa College (TX), Houston Community College, and the University of St. Alice Adams is an educator and veteran transportation writer for various national transportation trade publications, as well as for the Houston Chronicle.
